When I took this picture, the dark area under and to the side of the fallen tree trunk was dark. After opening the jpeg file, I saw what you now see here in these photos. I studied the photo and looked for any signs of light. Note that the sunlight is on the other end of the tree trunk. There are no other streams of light coming through. Close inspection of the photo by those using Photoshop or a similar program should reveal that this digital photo is un-retouched. Also note that the camera flash was turned off at the time this was taken in the mid afternoon. So what are those glows from under the tree trunk and to the left? A trip back to this shoot area revealed nothing else. A flashlight was used to see if anything was living under there and nothing was spotted. Not even feces.
