Copyright ©1996 All Rights Reserved WGA Registered #645171 By "Mark Paul" Sebar Welcome to the episodes of Dark Skies that were written on spec. Dark Skies Script supervisor never commented on these and whether they were read by him or anyone else at the original Dark Skies group is unknown. JT Walsh, a very dear friend of mine did read a couple of them and said they were very good. It is unfortunate that Dark Skies has decided to go with Ganglions and Russian spy's in Majestic, or even taken Loengard onto the base. The capturing of Kim Sayers was an even bigger gutting of what could have been an excellent Television series. Truthfully, they blew it! It certainly wasn't fair to Columbia Pictures Executives who put so much faith in these Producers, nor to you the Viewer who needed more respect. While the Ganglion theme plays throughout my stories, be aware, that the aliens and phenomena play closer to the real UFO scenes. Unfortunately I had to have some Ganglions in there, but if I had it my way, they would not have been there, since they are an unrealistic alien, with adverse scientific facts that couldn't possibly explain how a lobster sized creature breaks through the stomach, up the spine, penetrates the skull membrane, without dropping the brain onto the spinal comlumn (doctors please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but go easy...I'm just an American Writer), and then the creatures fit in the head? This is the first of the three Teleplays I wrote. It was plotted in 9 minutes and written in 7 hours, including proofing time. The second Teleplay in the series is 51=4 and the third one is Nauticals. All I ask is that with your enjoyment of these episodes, you leave the original in tact and that my name as both WGA regiateree and Copyright holder be kept as is. If you feel this has been altered from the original, please understand that with this being the possible case, I will take no liability for this. I hope you enjoy the series...sincerely "Mark Paul" DARK SKIES PLEIADES OF ELEMENTS TEASER FADE IN: EXT. NORTHERN NEW MEXICO MESA - NIGHT There's a full moon out in the evening sky. A disk disappears into the dark of night. On the ground are two 12 foot tall shiny metallic, cylindrical objects. They appear to be housing something big. Moments pass as a wind picks up. Then suddenly we hear the cylinder's door open. It's a mechanical noise as a hairy foot steps out onto the soil. ZOOM ON FOOT The foot only has three toes. It's a white Sasquatch, with glowing red eyes. The monster pushes the door wide open. IT scans the area, looking through the darkness. INTERCUT: SLOW CONSISTENT PAN OF - THE MESA - NIGHT Then the creature spots something. It's two Navajo men at a campfire. NAVAJO INDIAN 1 Spooky out here tonight. I wonder what the light was? NAVAJO INDIAN 2 Another meteor. There's been talk of the sounds coming from the ground. NAVAJO INDIAN 1 I don't like it. NAVAJO INDIAN 2 Think it's the Feds? NAVAJO INDIAN 1 No, it's something else. There have been ground noises for a long time on the mesa. NAVAJO INDIAN 2 Yeah, but these are mechanical. That makes a difference. I told pa what was happening. NAVAJO INDIAN 1 And what did he say? NAVAJO INDIAN 2 There are changes coming...big changes. We hear the whistles in the darkness of the mesa. Both Indians stand up, looking in the direction of the sounds. Then moments later the whistles are coming from behind them. Moments after that the sounds are coming from both sides, then over the hill from them. NAVAJO INDIAN 1 (grabs a Winchester Carbine) There's something wrong. NAVAJO INDIAN 2 I agree, let's pack it in. You go check on the cattle. NAVAJO 2 grabs a 45 in hand. NAVAJO 1 takes off for the ridge. A few moments pass, the insects have stopped as NAVAJO 2 looks out into the darkness. Suddenly, rocks start flying and we hear several surrounding cries that resemble human infants. The rocks are getting bigger in size as they are projected at NAVAJO 2. HE releases the slide action on the pistol, taking several shots in the directions of the rock throwers. Then a large rock nails the side of his head, sending him to the ground. He lifts the pistol as a tall lumbering figure at least 10 feet in height, moves in. With the gun, HE unloads the remaining rounds into it, with no success. Another rock nails his hand and the gun falls to the ground. HE starts to back up as another Sasquatch closes in. NAVAJO 2 screams out loud as... NAVAJO 1 appears at the scene. HE's scared of what HE sees. It's very unnatural. NAVAJO INDIAN 1 Oh no, oh no... NAVAJO 1 unloads several rounds into the white Sasquatch...then hits the dirt bike, dropping the rifle. He kick starts the machine and throttles it up. Then, HE takes off on the dirt bike as the white Sasquatch begins pursuit, accelerating at an incredible rate of speed. As HE upshifts the machine, the monster is closing on him. HE leans down, at 50 M.P.H. as the white Sasquatch reaches from behind and jerks the back end of the bike. FADE TO BLACK END TEASER ACT ONE FADE IN: EXT. LOENGARD'S HOTEL ROOM - DAY It's a cheap hotel room near the Northern side of Santa Fe New Mexico. OLD LOENGARD (V.O.) The days always left one a thought of anticipation, yet the evidence always seemed to elude us. I wondered if we were better off aligning ourselves with MJ12 and BACH. INT. LOENGARD'S HOTEL ROOM - DAY The rotary phone rings, as LOENGARD anxiously picks it up. LOENGARD Hello? COLONEL BARTER (on phone, female voice) I'm finishing my shift. I'll meet you at the rendezvous point at 6:00 o'clock. LOENGARD We'll be there. Hangs up the phone, turns to SAYERS. SAYERS Then she has it? LOENGARD Disk element structures. They're atomic weights and descriptions of the fuel pellets for the disks. They got em from Area S-4 before the scientists could make duplicates. These are the only originals. SAYERS Bobby Kennedy said this person could be trusted. What do you know about Area S-4? LOENGARD It's bound to give BACH a coronary. They use the heavy clearance for Area 51, but the real high level stuff seems to be from S-4. I've heard that disks are stored there. SAYERS (smiles) I love you. LOENGARD I know. They embrace a moment. INT. MAJESTIC BULLPEN ALBANO approaches BACH. ALBANO It's the kid, HE made contact with someone. But there wasn't enough time to get a pinpoint. FRANK BACH Good...area 51 is small fry. But S-4 is a no no. When and where? ALBANO (beat) Tonight at six o'clock..somewhere in Northern New Mexico. FRANK BACH Get the guys together. I want a chopper ready. ALBANO You got it. FRANK BACH What about the tail? ALBANO We're still watching LOENGARD and SAYERS. HALLIGAN should be up shortly with the mutilation samples. We found them near Santa Fe. EXT. ALBUQUERQUE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TWA TERMINAL - DAY We see the ladder truck pulling up to a Boeing 707 jetliner. The door of the airliner opens and several passengers begin unloading from it. ZOOM TO CU: Blond haired man, Caucasian with dark glasses neatly dressed in a business suit and tie. HE'S PLEAIDIAN. He removes the glasses as we view blond eyebrows and deep blue eyes. HE descends the stairs to the ground with the other passengers. INT. AIRPORT CUSTOMS - DAY The PLEAIDIAN is showing his passport to the CUSTOMS AGENT. CUSTOMS AGENT Norwegian huh? Speak a few syllables. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) (accent sounds Russian) How do you do. CUSTOMS AGENT Sounds like commie talk to me. You a communist? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) No, I am for American system of politico. CUSTOMS AGENT Damned right you say something like that. But I think you're a commie. Want a piece of advise? INTER CUT TO CU SHOT - CUSTOMS DESK Clerk stamps XENO'S passport XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Yes this advice is good? CUSTOMS AGENT You tell people in this country you're a Republican. Otherwise they're bound to think you're a commie. Just giving some good advice friend. Now, why are you in this country? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Business. CUSTOMS AGENT Not good enough. What kind of business? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Sales. CUSTOMS AGENT You're only allowed here for x amount of days. It's in the pamphlet I'm giving you. (hands XENO the literature) Frankly, I'd try and hide the accent if I were you. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Good, thank you very much...(smiles) sir! INT. MAJESTIC BULLPEN - DAY FRANK is reviewing some papers as DR. HALLIGAN approaches. FRANK BACH Yes, what have you got for me? HALLIGAN More mutilation samples. This time they're not ours. FRANK BACH Whose? HALLIGAN Type 2 Greys. They're definitely Rigelion's. Even the frequency variance matches up. FRANK BACH And they just happen to be near LOENGARD'S present vicinity. That's two problems we have to deal with. Get S-4 on the line and find out what they're doing in New Mexico, why the greys are operating there. They have no reason. That territory is out of the normal zones we set up with them.. INT. LOENGARD'S HOTEL - DAY LOENGARD and SAYERS are watching the midday news. The headlines are telling about UFO light sightings North of town and showing info on the local cattle mutilations. LOENGARD This is too good to be true. SAYERS Isn't it? I wonder if it's going to bring FRANK BACH into the picture. LOENGARD It'll give us a chance to see if we're being tailed by BACH and his gang. LOENGARD thinks a moment. SAYERS Tailed? LOENGARD Blue Caddy across the street with the woman in it. SHE'S been watching us a long time now. I'm sure she's a pair of BACH'S eyes. SAYERS goes to the window spreading the curtain. SHE watches a moment. INTERCUT: Across the street at the Caddy. LOENGARD waits a moment, while SAYERS takes a seat across from the table. LOENGARD HE wants what we're getting and HE wants it bad. SAYERS I don't think she'll make a move on us. LOENGARD No..not until we get the package. SAYERS Do you think they've tapped our line? LOENGARD With BACH, anything's possible. I think HE'D stop at nothing to get this. SAYERS Including killing us? LOENGARD Without a doubt. SAYERS sighs a moment, while LOENGARD dials a number. HE pauses a moment, then the other party answers. LOENGARD That'll be just fine. We'll meet you at the corners of Water and Alameda streets. LOENGARD hangs the phone up. SAYERS is excited. SAYERS It's on? LOENGARD It'll give us a chance to lose the tail. We need to take care of a few other things. EXT. LANDING PAD MJ12 - DAY The MJ12 Gang is loading into the chopper. This is the normal group scenario as they prepare for the awaiting scenario in New Mexico. INT. CHOPPER - DAY ALBANO (to FRANK) I'd like to put an end to that kid once and for all. FRANK BACH Not yet...They have something we want. Then we'll put an end to the both of them, and the informant. ALBANO S-4 said they talked to the contact for their greys and the Rigelians claim no knowledge of any bases in the New Mexican mesas. While remaining cool headed, FRANK'S a little nervous about what's happening. HE has a hunch things are a miss. FRANK BACH Then they may be rogue grey's, perhaps hivers. We have to stop them and get that data. INT. LOENGARD'S HOTEL - DAY LOENGARD and SAYERS pass XENO the PLEIADIAN at the front counter, on their way out the door. The HOTEL CLERK approaches. HOTEL CLERK is very suspicious of XENO. HE thinks the man's a communist spy. HOTEL CLERK You're new in town. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Thank you, I need a room...please, mister! HOTEL CLERK (suspicious, paranoid) You a soviet? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) No, I am an American. HOTEL CLERK Not with that accent you're not. You sound like a communist, a real soviet. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) I don't like this attitude of yours. CLERK tosses him a set of room keys. HOTEL CLERK I'm gonna keep an eye on you...boy. EXT. ROAD IN FRONT OF HOTEL - DAY LOENGARD and SAYERS take off in their pickup truck, as the blue Cadillac takes a cautious pursuit behind them. INT. LOENGARD'S TRUCK - DAY Notices the tail. SAYERS SHE'S following us? LOENGARD Absolutely. We're making a stop at the local reservation. I have questions about the mutilations. SAYERS Think they're connected? LOENGARD I don't know, but there's something different about these. I could almost feel it in those news pictures. Besides, it'll be close to our rendezvous point. SAYERS What about our friend back there? LOENGARD I'll figure that one out when I get to that point. EXT. RESERVATION - DAY SAYERS and LOENGARD have reached the local reservation. They are stared at by some of the local Native Americans at a small shop. The surrounding area is all open hills and mesa. In the Eastern skyline we see the beautiful Sangria De Cristo mountains. Stepping out of their truck, they are confronted by (Johnny Washington) a young Navajo man. HE'S very defensive. Almost hostile to them. JOHNNY WASHINGTON I knew it, dammit, I just knew it. More government agents and sightseers. Don't you people ever stop. This is Indian land. SAYERS We're not from the government. We're independent researchers. JOHNNY WASHINGTON I don't understand. LOENGARD We're looking for someone who might know about the recent mutilations on the mesa. JOHNNY WASHINGTON Who do you gather info for. SAYERS Parties interested in exposing the truth. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (to the other INDIANS) Boys, we better stick these three back in their truck. JOHNNY and the other two INDIAN musclemen, begin advancing towards them, when we suddenly hear... JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) JOHNNY, let them alone. They have come for the truth. JIM approaches them, LOENGARD and SAYERS as the three young INDIANS watch a moment. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (protests) But you know all they want is photos for the local... JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I said leave them alone. I have two young men out there and I haven't heard from either of my boys. LOENGARD My name's JOHN LOENGARD and this is KIM SAYERS. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I'm the local CHIEF here and spokesperson for this group of Navajo's (extends hand, friendly smile) JIM EAGLEROCK. And no..I don't feel like being studied. LOENGARD You mentioned your boys, what of them? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Come, we can talk in there. JIM leads KIM and JOHN into a small side entrance of the store. INT. ROOM IN STORE - DAY KIM and JOHN seat themselves on crates as JIM begins the story.... JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I'm sure you are. SAYERS So they're still out on the mesa. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Not quite. JOHNNY and the guys found their camp. It was a mess this morning. Found the dirt bike tracks that disappeared. LOENGARD Disappeared to where? Do you think it was foul play? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Absolutely. But, I don't know where the bike and my sons are. When the boys went over the hill, they found over fifty head of beef slaughtered. Organs were removed. But they didn't find any sign of my boys. There's one other problem. LOENGARD What's that? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) We've been hearing the ground noises again. They are old sounds familiar to my ears. When theses sounds appear, things happen. SAYERS Abnormal things? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Yes. LOENGARD Can you take us to the sight? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I don't like it, but if anyone is to go out on the open mesa, then I am the best one to do it. EXT. LOS ALAMOS LABS HELIPORT - DAY The chopper with BACH and the gang has landed. BACH and ALBANO get out, followed by the other cronies. ALBANO They passed the info through here. Someone here, is the spy. FRANK BACH What about the KGB? ALBANO SHE'S tailing LOENGARD and SAYERS, same as our guy. FRANK BACH I can just smell this whole thing. LOENGARD'S going to end up giving this to the wrong people. We have to find him and the mole. Stay on it. ALBANO Will do. FRANK turns to (REEDS), one of his other cronies. FRANK BACH The press has been on this since the mutilations started. I want you to feed them the one about laughing cow disease. That'll keep them from this, till we get things straightened up. Then rendezvous back here at 5:00 o'clock REEDS You got it. REEDS takes off. FRANK is met by none other than Colonel BARTER. SHE smiles, shaking hands. FRANK BACH Colonel, we need to talk about this. I have a problem with your base security. SHE'S a little nervous, trying to hide it. COLONEL BARTER I'm sure we can go over the details, but I have an important meeting coming up. HE picks up her nervousness. FRANK BACH It won't take long. INT. XENO'S ROOM - DAY HE'S studying the local map. Takes a pen and marks off certain areas. Then he thinks for a second, pinpointing one more area on the map. We suddenly hear a knock at his door. XENO walks over to the door opening it. There's a package outside it. HE takes the package inside the room. HE opens the package. Inside is a small gun resembling a laser type weapon. XENO sits at the table, popping an energy clip into the belly of the gun. Then HE cocks the action. INT. LOS ALAMOS BRIEFING ROOM - DAY BACH is seated next to BARTER at a table. ALBANO is seated nearby. FRANK BACH Someone on this base at these labs gave out information. This is a serious matter, Colonel. That information is of National Security interests to the United States. COLONEL BARTER What kind of information? ALBANO That's classified. COLONEL BARTER I see. FRANK BACH You have a security breach here. When you return from your meeting, ALBANO will coordinate our people with yours to flush the spy out in the cold. SHE'S nervous, almost a dead give away. COLONEL BARTER I have a deadline with my superiors. I'll coordinate things as soon as I return. SHE leaves the room. ALBANO turns to FRANK. FRANK BACH Put a tail on her. I have a hunch. ALBANO You think she's the one? FRANK BACH I don't know, but she may know where the documents are. IF SHE had a meeting, why not here? It doesn't make sense, unless SHE'S leaving for a reason. ALBANO We could stop her at the gate, search the car. FRANK BACH No, that's too easy. SHE'S very intelligent. SHE wouldn't jeopardize info that critical. SHE already has the evidence at the site..if SHE is the one. Let's see where SHE goes. EXT. OLD NAVAJO CAMP - DAY The sun is setting as the afternoon is wearing thin. JIM, SAYERS and LOENGARD are at the site where the two Navajo boys disappeared. There are Bigfoot impressions by two different Sasquatch, both having only three toes. OLD LOENGARD (V.O.) You could almost feel the electricity in the air. This place was different, very different. There was something very out of place here. Something that didn't belong. And all the while I was aware that we were being watched. LOENGARD My God. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They call them Bigfoot. SAYERS I know, but they're in the pacific northwest, aren't they? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They're all over. But these Bigfoot are different. See the toes. LOENGARD They only have three. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They only have three on their feet. SAYERS Deformed? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Look at these tracks. (points at both ground impressions). They're two of them, about 1,000 pounds on this one and I'd venture a guess at 700 pounds on that one. LOENGARD Then what you're saying is there are two different types of Bigfoot? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) My father showed me a three toed print many years ago. At that time we were hunting. We saw the lights in the sky. HE took me away from there. Said these Bigfoot are bad. They are not like the others spoken of in legend. They come with the lights. LOENGARD KIM, you go with him, I want a look around this place. JOHN begins following the road, the one that NAVAJO 1 was escaping on. HE follows the tracks of the dirt bike quite a ways. SAYERS I want to see the cattle. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They're up here. Can you hear the hum? LOENGARD No I can't. I'll join you guys in a moment. I want to look at a couple of things. JIM and SAYERS head up the ridge. INTERCUT DIRT ROAD John studying the bike tracks. They just stop at one point, followed by Bigfoot impressions, then both disappear, as if vanishing into thin air. He's baffled. OLD LOENGARD (V.O.) It was a scene out of a fifties sci-fi "B" movie. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The tracks appeared as if they disappeared into the sky. Everything just stopped at the one spot. Nothing to either side of me. EXT. HILLTOP - DAY SAYERS and JIM stand at the top of the ridge, both of them stunned. JOHN follows moments later. There are dead cattle all across the open mesa. It's a chilling and unnatural sight for them. SAYERS I don't want to stay here anymore. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I'll take you back. LOENGARD I want a look at some of these. I'll be back in a few moments to join you. EXT. MESA - DAY JOHN squats near a dead steer. HE looks at the belly. It's been neatly cut open, with minimal blood, having seeped from the wound. HE realizes something. This was surgery of some type, but why? INTER CUT TO - LOS ALAMOS BASE - DAY BARTER'S just gotten in a Jeep. SHE'S on her way, driving off the base. Briefcase in hand. Way in the background a black sedan follows. EXT. MESA - DAY JOHN HEAR'S A SUDDEN THUMPING SOUND, THEN A SNORT. THERE'S A CREATURE THAT'S COME UP BEHIND HIM. HE SLOWLY STANDS AND BEGINS TO TURN, TO GLIMPSE THE MENACE. END OF ACT ONE ACT TWO EXT. MESA - DAY LOENGARD turns to face a steer. The animals very nervous, snorting as it faces him. IT's a moment of terror as JOHN watches the bulls eyes. Then, the animal takes off, running from him, across the field. JOHN looks around - panoramic shot - We see the mesa and the sun hanging low in the sky. HE beats a retreat up the ridge. INT. JIM'S TRUCK - DAY They're heading back to the shop. SAYERS You mentioned a hum? (Enquiring into previous comments) JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I guess you can't hear it. Only certain people can. My father and I were two of those people. LOENGARD'S puzzled. LOENGARD What's this hum..sound like? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) It's a constant sound, like gears turning. If you were to place a tape recorder to the ground, you might here it. SAYERS I wonder why only certain people can hear it? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They say you may hear it after several months on the mesa. Some people, though, never hear a thing. Only the lonely whisper of the mesa breeze, or the coyote's howl. LOENGARD KIM, we have a meeting to keep. Their truck pulls up to the small building as they depart. JOHNNY and his two buddies are watching as JIM, John and KIM get out of the car. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I hope this will help you folks out. LOENGARD It's a start. I'd like to come by later this evening, take a look at night. JIM'S expression turns to one of anger and pandemonium. HE'S hiding something. Something terrible from them as HE clenches his fist. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) No, absolutely not. It's not a place for you to be. I don't like anybody out there after my boys disappeared. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (to JIM) Old man, what is it you're afraid of? Monsters, ghosts? You know there's nothing out there. How do I know you didn't stage this to attract attention to the reservation? LOENGARD (defensive for JIM) Because what I saw isn't an act. JOHNNY turns to LOENGARD and SAYERS. HE gives her the eye, while his two big friends stand in the background...threatening pose. JOHNNY WASHINGTON I don't like you...but I do like her. JIM steps in between the two of them, backhanding JOHNNY to the ground. His two Indian henchman make a move, but stop short, staring down at JOHNNY. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) (to JOHN and KIM) I think it's best you leave, and I don't recommend you coming back. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (angry, stand up) It's not over old man. My friends and I are gonna expose your little hoax. JOHNNY and his buddies retreat to several motorcycles and kick start their bikes. Then we see them take off, down the road. SAYERS Looks like you have your own problems? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I can handle them for now. You two take my advice and stay off the mesa...I mean it. It's gotten dangerous out there. I have to find my own boys. And it's my personal battle. EXT. RENDEZVOUS POINT - SUNSET BARTER'S waiting patiently for them. The KGB and US tails are also watching. SHE checks her watch. Impatient, nervous. Then suddenly.... JOHN and KIM appear as agreed upon. The two of them get out of the vehicle. They approach the COLONEL. OLD LOENGARD (V.O.) I knew what we had to do. They would be watching us. It was a sacrifice for BARTER. But SHE knew she was doing the right thing. COLONEL BARTER COLONEL BARTER Los Alamos research. SHE waits for their reply. LOENGARD I'm here to pickup a message. COLONEL BARTER The message is your package is ready. LOENGARD Then I accept my package with courage. The game has ended between them. They both know they're on the level with each other. COLONEL BARTER I'm glad to be rid of this. I have a husband and children waiting. LOENGARD What you're doing goes a long way in helping the American people. They're our real concern. SAYERS It's the truth. The truth must get out. BARTER is relieved. SHE knows things are winding down and the pressure is to now remain anonymous for this work. COLONEL BARTER And so with this it will. LOENGARD I respect your position. Just what are these? COLONEL BARTER Tapes explaining the scientific breakdown of core reactor elements in the RIGELIAN'S disks. It's the only copy of these. That's why they'll stop at nothing. LOENGARD That's why we have to move. SHE hands him a key and manila envelop, then whispers something to LOENGARD. HE gives the keys to KIM. Without warning, KGB agent ELENA NOVIAK floors it, driving the car to their position and screeching to a stop. ELENA hangs a gun out the window, yelling at them... ELENA NOVIAK (KGB) (points gun) Give them to me. Now or I shoot. BARTER pulls a forty five, and is shot on the spot, an arm wound, sending her down. ALBANO and company make a mad dash towards them as ELENA grabs the keys and package through her car window. SHE takes off in a screech. ALBANO and the others give chase, ignoring BARTER, JOHN and KIM. JOHN grabs BARTER'S forty five from the ground and empties the remaining rounds into the back of ELENA'S fleeing car. But the auto has gone to far, and the bullets failed to stop it. Another vehicle drives up. It's BACH and an MP in the vehicle. They both get out. LOENGARD and SAYERS stand by as the MP radios for an ambulance. Then the officer comes from behind BACH. FRANK BACH (to BARTER) HE called an ambulance for you. COLONEL BARTER (sarcastic smile) How nice. LOENGARD Don't you realize the truth must be told? FRANK BACH Oh it will. (gets angry) When I say it's time. SAYERS That's not for you to do. FRANK BACH Oh, but it is. My men are chasing a woman. That woman is a KGB agent. LOENGARD You're no different. You're all in this little scheme together. FRANK BACH Maybe we are. But at least we're fighting them. COLONEL BARTER And that's why I did what I did. The people have to know. FRANK BACH I would keep my big mouth shut if I were you. You're in enough trouble as it is. You see, you aided a Soviet agent, that's the news that's gonna be released. LOENGARD You know that's a lie. FRANK BACH No I didn't. I figured you and her (points to SAYERS) are in with the sweet Colonel here. You're also going to jail. With those words, LOENGARD slams the MP in the face, grabbing his side arm, while SAYERS slaps at BACH. LOENGARD backs off the MP, handing his forty five to SAYERS. SAYERS We're not going anywhere. The MP and BACH are standing hands up. LOENGARD grabs their car keys, then helps BARTER into the car. FRANK BACH You can run, but you can't hide. We'll get the whole lot of you. LOENGARD Maybe, maybe not. But we can enlist help in getting the truth out. SAYERS gets in the truck holding the 45 on both BACH and the MP. Then they drive off, making their escape. BACH grabs his watch checking the time. Then HE goes to his car. The MP gets in the passenger seat. FRANK BACH They're gonna keep that gun, no matters where they go. Are you sure the homing device was secure? MP Yes sir! It was tested as you ordered..sir! FRANK BACH Good. They're not stupid. Let's call in to the others. The MP grabs the mike and radios the other car. ALBANO replies. ALBANO (V.O.) SHE got away. FRANK BACH Don't worry about her. LOENGARD'S gone. Start the tracking. Then get over here ASAP. HE took our keys. ALBANO (V.O.) We'll be there shortly. BACH takes a deep breath of air. Then HE rests his head back, as the ambulance arrives late. INT. LOENGARD'S PICKUP TRUCK - NIGHT They are driving as fast as they can down the highway, in the dark of night. COLONEL BARTER It's bleeding pretty bad. LOENGARD Don't worry, I have someone who can help us. SAYERS What about our hotel room? We have a medical kit. LOENGARD turns to her a moment. Then HE concentrates on his driving. LOENGARD We can't. They already know where we are. SAYERS Then who's our friend? LOENGARD JIM EAGLEROCK. He'll help us out. COLONEL BARTER (surprised) An Indian? LOENGARD No...a friend. Besides, I need a damned good excuse to return to the mesa. SAYERS That's not a good idea. You heard JIM. COLONEL BARTER They've been having cattle mutilations out there. I heard about them on the news. A lot of the local Indian's are in fear of something. There's a moment of silence among them. LOENGARD I know. But first we have to pickup the material. EXT. HIGHWAY - NIGHT As their truck drives by, we see XENO watch from the side of the road. HE knows who they are, where they're going. HE looks up a moment... INTERCUT TO - THE NIGHT HEAVENS We see what appears for a moment to be a meteor, than suddenly the light turns down toward the ground and disappears over the horizon ahead. INT. HIGHWAY - NIGHT XENO wipes his brow a moment. Then HE picks up a case and starts walking in the direction that SAYERS and LOENGARD are driving. INT. ALBUQUERQUE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - LOCKERS ELENA walks with the keys in hand to a locker. SHE double checks the pamphlet. Then SHE opens locker number 2005. The locker has a small box in it. SHE takes the box out. INTERCUT TO CU - OF BOX SHE opens the box. Inside is some foil. SHE takes the foil out and opens it. It's a chocolate bar. SHE sniffs it, then takes a bite of the candy bar. Then SHE laughs aloud, gobbling the rest of the confection. EXT. RESERVATION - JIM'S PLACE - NIGHT They arrive in the pickup. LOENGARD and SAYERS assist BARTER from the truck. They walk her around to the front door, banging on it, until JIM answers. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Who's there? Porch light comes on. SAYERS It's us mister EAGLEROCK...JOHN and KIM. JIM opens the door, shocked that they've returned so soon. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Who's that? Army personnel...I ain't helping Feds. SAYERS Please JIM, SHE'S a friend, we need your help. The Government's after us. SHE'S been shot. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Shot! LOENGARD SHE'S bleeding bad from the arm. INT. JIM'S HOME - NIGHT With that, JIM assists them and BARTER into his home. Then HE disappears into another room. COLONEL BARTER I'm feeling dizzy. BARTER'S almost delusional, SHE'S bleeding all over the place. JIM emerges with an emergency kit. HE bends down, ripping her sleeve open. Opening the medical box, JIM removes the necessary stuff. HE flicks a cigarette lighter and cauterizes a knife. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) You guys hold her, this is gonna hurt. Both SAYERS and LOENGARD grasp an arm, while BARTER remains delusional---in and out of it. JIM inserts the knife into the wound in her arm as we hear a...scream. JIM removes the slug from the wound. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) (smiles in triumph) Got her. Shot off the bone and wedged in between that and the muscle. He takes a needle and thread. LOENGARD Stitches? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) It'll do. KIM, could you get a cold glass of water from the sink? SHE'S sweatin' pretty bad. KIM heads to the sink in the kitchen. INTERCUT TO: JIM'S KITCHEN - NIGHT SHE notices the pack on the table. HE'S prepared to go camping. KIM realizes where JIM'S going. SHE fills a glass with tap, then heads back to the main room. INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT KIM hands JIM the glass. SHE positions herself to view him eye to eye. SAYERS You're going out there alone, aren't you? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) They were what I had to live for. Those were my boys. A father has to protect his young. LOENGARD looks to SAYERS for approval. SHE silently gives it in her glance. LOENGARD I'm going with you. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) No, this is my problem. I have to face it alone. LOENGARD It's not a problem...it's an opportunity. LOENGARD'S remark brings out an expression of puzzlement from JIM. HE can read JIM like a book. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Opportunity for what. LOENGARD To find out what happened to your sons, and what did it. They may still be alive. JIM closes his eyes a moment. HE concentrates with all his might. Then HE opens his eyes again. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I don't feel their spirits. There is a dark void where my sons once stood. I think they are both dead. SAYERS looks to LOENGARD for a reply. Suddenly we hear the sound of a wail, from somewhere outside on the mesa. It's the type of sound a monster makes. JIM stands. HE walks to a gun case and grabs a lever action carbine. Then HE cranks the handle, loading the round from the tube. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) You guys stay put, it's my battle. JIM disappears into the other room, emerging with a buckskin jacket and the pack and rifle. We hear the wail, only this time it's closer. END OF ACT TWO ACT THREE INT. JIM'S CABIN - NIGHT Jim and John make ready to leave. KIM looks at a shotgun, it's a reassuring feeling. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) You ladies keep the door locked. SAYERS No problems with that. Get going. JOHN, the both of you please be careful. LOENGARD We'll be back shortly. I'm taking him to get the articles. Then, once we have them, we'll move her. LOENGARD gets his coat on. Pockets the forty five. SAYERS Any chance they can trace us? LOENGARD I don't think so...BACH'S men went after the KGB agent. I took his keys. SAYERS (to JIM) About that sound. Is that a Bigfoot? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Naw...it's a buck calling out. They sometimes make that crying sound. Heard it many times when hunting on the mesa. Come on JOHN, we have a long night ahead of us. LOENGARD (to KIM) I love you. JOHN and JIM exit the premises. KIM walks to the front door, bolting it shut. The wind's kicked up a little outside. EXT. JIM'S CABIN - NIGHT It's cold out, very cold, as both men bundle up while walking to JOHN'S pickup. They toss their stuff in the bed, then get in the truck. INT. LOENGARD'S TRUCK - NIGHT HE cranks the engine over. It starts hard a moment, then turns over. HE drives it out the dirt driveway, then onto the dirt road. They have open mesa lands all around them. JOHN drives the truck onto a main road. HE passes XENO along the road. LOENGARD That's weird. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) What's weird? LOENGARD I thought I saw that man a while back when we were traveling down the highway. Caught him out of the corner of my eye. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Probably a drifter heading toward Taos or Colorado. Get em this time of year. LOENGARD I suppose...It's not far from here. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) What is it we're after? LOENGARD (hesitant) Secret government tapes on UFO propulsion systems. Going to nail the door shut on those bastards. JIM doesn't believe him, the doubt is in the Indian Chief's eyes. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I see. LOENGARD It's true, I'm not joking. We're almost there, just another few miles. INT. BACH'S CUBE VAN - NIGHT The gang is listening to monitoring equipment. ALBANO We got a lock on em. FRANK BACH How far? ALBANO Fifteen miles, maybe less. North of town. FRANK BACH Let's go...The game playing's wearing thin for me. BACH lights one up, then takes a few puffs. HE's starting to stress. I/E. OLD CHURCH - NIGHT LOENGARD and JIM stop the truck. Both men get out. It's an eerie feeling as they both cock and crank their firearms. JOHN forces the church doors open. They enter the church, in the darkness. We travel down the aisles of the church as both men approach the pulpit. JOHN takes another key out. HE goes around the pulpit. INTERCUT TO - PULPIT Both men open the safe with the key. The package is there for them. JOHN takes it. Then they begin making a getaway. THEY sense trouble as both men get out of the church, running towards the pickup. They get in the truck, cranking the engine over. It's the battery, barely giving enough juice to the motor. But after a few moments, it starts. The pickups tires kickup dirt as the vehicle lurches forward onto the highway. INT. JOHN'S PICKUP - NIGHT LOENGARD That was scary. I got the creeps in that place. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I don't like it in places like that. There's something about the silence of a church at night. I think it's a spiritual thing. LOENGARD Whatever it was, we've got what we wanted. INT. JIM'S CABIN - NIGHT There's a sudden knock at the door. It jars both women, though BARTER'S really drowsy. Hesitantly, SAYERS approaches. SHE has the shotgun in hand. SAYERS Yes? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) (V.O. from behind door) Please, time is short, I am here to help you. SAYERS (turns to BARTER a moment) Go away. The door handle starts to turn as the dead bolt and locks from inside start opening. SAYERS is mystified and almost in shock as SHE takes a step back from the opening door. SHE lowers the shotgun as XENO steps through it. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) I am here to help. SAYERS You're a Russian. You must be KGB? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) No, I am Nordic on my passport. I am not from this world originally. I am a Pleiadian. SAYERS Brother, spare me. You've got just a few moments to leave or else... SHE lowers the shotgun on him. HE grasps the end as SHE squeezes the trigger. XENO takes it from her, unphased. SAYERS steps back from him. SAYERS You should be... XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Dead? No...I am protected from this things. Come your friend needs help. HE closes the door and walks to BARTER'S side. The tall blond man bends down. With his right hand, HE holds it just slightly above her arm wounds. INTERCUT TO: CU - BARTERS ARM WOUNDS There's a faint greenish glow from XENO'S hands as the arm wounds completely revert to a normal state, disappearing from her. XENO next puts his hands over her forehead, while SAYERS watches in the background in astonishment. BARTER'S gaining full consciousness. BARTER stands up. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) I think you will be alright. SAYERS Who are you? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) I am called XENO. COLONEL BARTER So what is it you want from us? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) The plans must reach no government from this world. The time isn't right for this world's peoples to have such knowledge yet. We must also destroy something on the mesa, but that is my concern. SAYERS Are you controlled by the Ganglion? SAYERS approaches around XENO looking at every part of his muscular physique. SHE'S studying him. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) No, they can't exist within our blood type. It is like acid for them. BARTER'S somewhat defensive, suspicious. COLONEL BARTER That information can eventually be duplicated. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) We will confiscate all information until the time is right. It will be a case by case basis. COLONEL BARTER Why are you holding that from us? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) Because I told you, isn't right time. My people have been here long time. We watch your people, and we give input sometimes in history, to make changes, you know...subtle changes to give you guidance. But...we don't try to interfere. COLONEL BARTER Isn't that what you're doing now? SAYERS I'd say it is. XENO (PLEAIDIAN) No, this is to stop what will become big problem for this world's peoples. Your peoples are not ready for this..yet! SAYERS When will we be? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) After the turn of this century..things will begin to change. SAYERS And what about the hivers and ganglions? XENO (PLEAIDIAN) They are here only for a limited time. There are many other cultures from elsewhere that will be coming...soon. We must go now. Gather your weapons together. INT. BACH'S CUBE VAN - NIGHT They're closing in on LOENGARD'S position. ALBANO They're on Indian land..the reservation. FRANK BACH I don't give a flying squat...just keep following them. ALBANO We're not far now. The homing device is still working. EXT. MESA - NIGHT The winds kicked in as both JIM and LOENGARD head to the spot. There is one difference. The ground noise is now audible, and JOHN can here it. It sounds similar to one of the grinders on a tree chopper. A constant mechanical sound of a motor turning at high speed. Ahead of them, we see the ridge and from beyond it, a faint glow. LOENGARD I wonder what that is? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) We must go and see. Come, hurry. Both men make the top of the ridge. From the top, they can see an opening from the Earth, a cave into the ground, from where the noise and glow are coming. Both men start down the ridge towards the cavern. EXT. MESA - NIGHT BACH'S cube van screeches to a halt, next to LOENGARD'S truck. ALBANO searches quickly with a flashlight. But the package is gone. ALBANO It's not here. FRANK BACH Then we have to go after them. Get the sonic blasters. I have a feeling we're going on a bug hunt. ALBANO What about the truck, in case they come back? FRANK BACH (turns to a henchman) DILLON, you and SACHS stay posted. If they come back, detain them. If they resist...shoot em dead. Then strip search them. DILLON Including the girl? FRANK BACH Especially her. INT. CAVERN - NIGHT The sound is loud and the lighting brilliant as both men, JIM and JOHN LOENGARD approach the source of the noise. They stop at what appears to be four steel poles sunk in the ground. Suddenly a ganglion crawls out of thin air from between the poles, a moment, sees them, then crawls back in. LOENGARD Ganglions...They've opened some type of doorway to get across. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) It's gotta be new, because all this is just starting up. LOENGARD We have to close this, or else they'll start infecting everybody. Suddenly we see the two Sasquatch standing a short distance behind them growling. After a moment we... INTERCUT - ZOOM IN - ON SASQUATCH'S MOUTH A larger version of the normal Ganglion slips out a moment, then disappears back inside the creatures mouth. The hairy monsters take a step towards both petrified men. END OF ACT THREE ACT FOUR INT. CAVERN - NIGHT JIM points the carbine at the white Bigfoot. HE takes aim. Then we hear JOHNNY'S voice from behind them. JOHNNY and his two Indian cronies are standing behind them, waiting, watching. They have JIM and JOHN LOENGARD sandwiched between the Sasquatch and themselves. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (smiles, arrogant) Did you really think I would let you off so easily..old man? JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) What did you do to my boys? JIM turns the gun on JOHNNY. HE's got an itchy trigger finger, and it's waiting to squeeze. The dark brown Bigfoot turns a moment, exiting the scene to the front of the cavern, while the larger white one remains, taking a step closer. JOHNNY WASHINGTON They're both dead. It's funny, your oldest son tried to shoot at the very monster before you. Their hide's so thick, bullets can't hurt them. Even when they're not a part of our association. JOHNNY turns his attention towards LOENGARD. JOHNNY WASHINGTON I don't like you. LOENGARD Good, I don't like you either. I suppose that makes two of us. JOHNNY WASHINGTON You've done nothing but hurt us. The time has come to make you part of our regime. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Like hell you will. JIM opens up with several rounds as JOHNNY goes for the gun. LOENGARD uses the remaining rounds in the forty fives clip, emptying them into the white Sasquatch. The big monster jerks the gun from his hand, sending LOENGARD to the ground. JOHNNY WASHINGTON That was stupid old man (HE boasts, bullet holes leaking. blood) You can't destroy this body so quickly. They compensate for the lack of blood pressure. LOENGARD Go to hell. JOHNNY WASHINGTON Been there. It's your turn. The henchmen grab JIM who's struggling as they force his face to the ground. LOENGARD You won't getaway with this. We hear machine gun fire from atop the tunnel entrance. INTERCUT TO: CAVERN ENTRANCE EXT. BACH and friends are in a gun battle with the brown sasquatch. ALBANO hands FRANK what looks like a puffer gun. FRANK turns a key on the side of the bulky weapon, then points at the Sasquatch. HE fires, along with their machine guns. The sound weapon makes a discharging noise resembling a Klingon phaser. The brown Sasquatch stumbles backwards. BACH fires again, and this time we see cracks in the animal. HE fires one last time, and the... brown SASQUATCH explodes into sand, all over the place. INT. CAVERN - NIGHT JOHNNY'S worried. HE turns to the white SASQUATCH. JOHNNY WASHINGTON Don't just stand there, let go of him, stop them. The monster is hesitant at first, but after a moment, it releases JOHN'S throat, heading up top. INTERCUT cavern entrance ELENA slips inside the cavern while BACH and the group are momentarily mulling over the sandy remains of the monster. INT. CAVERN - NIGHT ELENA comes across the white monster. SHE unloads her pistol rounds, to no avail. The sasquatch picks her up, throwing her against the wall, where upon SHE hits her head and is out cold. The white sasquatch proceeds forward. Just as the monster stretches its arms and growls, BACH lets him have it. The sonics are breaking the creature up and the machine gun fire from the other men finish the job. FRANK BACH Where's the signal? ALBANO Up ahead...That was a big one. FRANK BACH Bigger they are, the harder they fall. Come on. The men proceed forward, stopping a moment at ELENA'S body. ALBANO bends over her. HE reaches into her pocket. ALBANO KGB. FRANK BACH Great...that's all we need. One of you stay here with her. I want her when SHE comes to. ALBANO Think this is a new base of theirs? FRANK BACH Naw...this is definitely something different. The men proceed forward, down the cavern. INT. CAVERN - NIGHT JOHNNY presses JIM to the floor as the Ganglion comes out from between the four poles. The creature slowly approaches the Indians mouth. CU - JIM'S MOUTH: JIM opens his mouth a moment as the creature goes to move inside. JOHNNY WASHINGTON (laughs) This is too easy. JIM waits till the creature starts to enter as they have eased up on forcing his mouth open. Then with the ganglion's tail halfway inside, HE bites down with his teeth, as we hear the crunching of the ganglion's tail being cut in two. JOHNNY WASHINGTON No,no,no...I'll kill you for that. BACH and company have arrived. LOENGARD shoves the Indian henchman back, while JIM spits the tail from his mouth. LOENGARD They're hivers. FRANK BACH I know. JOHNNY WASHINGTON You won't get away with this. FRANK turns the sonic blaster on the poles and the gateway. JOHNNY and his cronies make a last ditch effort to get to BACH as HE blasts the gateway several times. The other men's machine gun fire holds them for a few moments. The Gateway changes color. Instead of a red cube being in between the poles, it changes blue, and a reverse pattern starts up. JIM backs away as a suction begins developing. The walls erupt in small spurts of fire as JOHNNY gets sucked into the gateway, while his two buddies machine gunned bodies get sucked in too. LOENGARD, grasps BACH'S hand as the packet on his shoulder, with the plans, gets sucked off it, into the gateway. They manage to make a run for the top of the cavern. They come upon their man, just getting up from the ground. FRANK BACH Don't tell me SHE got away. LOENGARD Let's get out of here. They continue as fire erupts up the tunnel in larger spurts towards them. EXT. CAVERN ENTRANCE - NIGHT They all get out. XENO and the ladies are there waiting for the others, and they have a captive. It's ELENA, and SHE'S none to happy. FRANK BACH Come on, I think it's gonna blow. They all start running for the ridge as quickly as possible, running and climbing, until they... Reach the ridge top. Watching from a distance, the whole cavern exerts a ball of fire into the sky, turns blue, then disappears, leaving a quiet dark landscape to mull over. SAYERS Where's XENO? FRANK BACH Who? COLONEL BARTER XENO, the man who helped us. FRANK BACH (to ALBANO in reference to ELENA) Get her to CIA. I'm sure we can get a good trade from her for one of ours. (HE turns to BARTER) If I were you I would consider myself lucky you're not dead. COLONEL BARTER How very nice of you. ALBANO I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. LOENGARD We're still gonna get the truth out. FRANK BACH I'm sure you would try...but your time's run out.. SAYERS How?. FRANK BACH You're going with the good COLONEL to prison for espionage. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) You like to take things, just the same way you took our land, killed our ancestors. FRANK BACH Perhaps..but I win. ALBANO, put them in with our KGB friend. ALBANO'S pleased with the decision. HE goes with the other men and takes them down the ridge towards the trucks. LOENGARD (to ALBANO) You won't get away with this. ALBANO FRANK already has. That's why we're doing this. Because when I get you, you'll be dead meat. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Consider you're on Indian land, holding an Elder hostage. Do you think it's a wise decision? ALBANO Shut up...We took your land because we were better than you. Now it all belongs to the United States Government. SAYERS You're not a very bright man are you? They are stopped, as ALBANO thumbs the hammer back on his gun. HE places it to ELENA'S head. SHE closes her eyes. HE backs it away from her. ALBANO No, I'm bright, just not very nice. Get my point. ELENA NOVIAK (KGB) That was against the Geneva conventions. COLONEL BARTER You don't particularly like women do you? ALBANO Men..put em in the back of the pickup, till FRANK and I get back. I'm going back up with him. ALBANO heads away from the group, towards the ridge. EXT. RIDGE TOP - NIGHT BACH'S looking out over the landscape, crouched down. HE'S watching something as ALBANO comes up from behind. FRANK turns to face him. ALBANO They're all secure down below. Those women were just hammering me. FRANK BACH (chuckles) You do have a way with the girls...See that faint light out there. I've been watching it. ALBANO A person? FRANK BACH Something else. It's gotta be at least a couple of miles away. I think it's an aircraft. ALBANO Helicopter, plane? FRANK BACH No... Suddenly, the light skips over above their position as they watch overhead, the disk is there in an instant, shiny, metallic...the typical disk shape with lighted windows. It then shoots over the area of the truck and the others. FRANK BACH C'mon. FRANK and ALBANO run down the ridge making a beeline for the truck. The disk drops a beam of light, then disappears into the sky. EXT. PARKED TRUCKS - NIGHT FRANK and ALBANO arrive at the vehicles. The Russian agent and FRANK'S men are all tied up in the back of the cube van. The doors are open. FRANK goes to untie DILLON as ALBANO walks up behind him. FRANK BACH Where are they? DILLON That thing. it shot a light down and then these tall blond people tied us up. We couldn't move. FRANK BACH I asked where they are? DILLON The blond people let them go. ALBANO Someone's coming. They all turn their attention to several armed Native Americans. FRANK turns to take aim at the lead one with the sonic blaster, but finds a bullet knocking the weapon from his hand, and damaging it in the process as it lays on the ground. JIM approaches them. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) Men...we have a grave problem here. You're all on Indian land, and you're all hostile towards Indians. FRANK BACH Spare me. FRANK goes to make a move and a young NAVAJO put a carbine to his chest. JIM EAGLEROCK (CHIEF) I'd say we have some horse trading to do. And you (turns to ALBANO)...have some education coming when it comes to protocol with Native Americans. INT. LOENGARD'S PICKUP - NIGHT They're driving away, BARTER, SAYERS and LOENGARD, as the howl of the cold wind beats on their windshield. SAYERS So what are you going to do now. COLONEL BARTER My husband has plans for a new business in Mexico. I think I'll retire there with him and my son. And you guys...? LOENGARD We need to get the truth to the people. At least we know of the Pleiadians and their cause. We're not necessarily alone anymore. SAYERS HE mentioned others who are coming, different races and cultures, destined to share our planet and it's resources. COLONEL BARTER And those things they mentioned...the ganglions. What of them? LOENGARD On going problem for us and BACH. SAYERS Think JIM will let BACH go? LOENGARD After HE has a little fun with him...plus the old Chief said it would buy us time... OLD LOENGARD (V.O.) And so we continued on, having come very close to death. But it wasn't over, not by a long shot. BACH was a survivor and would be out there searching...searching for us. FADE OUT:
